Discover our Sunscreen Face SPF30

Who doesn’t love the sun? It gives us warmth, brightness, and that much-needed boost of vitamin D that lifts our spirits. Whether you’re relaxing on the beach or enjoying a walk under clear skies, being outdoors feels great. But while we soak up the sunshine, it’s easy to forget that UV rays are always at work, no matter the season. Even on cloudy days, these harmful rays can sneak through, leading to premature aging, sunburns, and a higher risk of skin cancer. Most people know sunscreen is important, but many still wonder: How do you apply it correctly? How much should you use? Does it matter where you apply it? Let’s clear up the confusion so you can keep your skin protected, every single day. A Sunscreen You’ll Actually Want to Wear Let’s face it – many of us view sunscreen as a necessary evil - thick, sticky, and unpleasant on the skin. Our new Sunscreen Face SPF30 is made with a formula that seamlessly integrates sun protection into your daily skincare routine.  With a combination of non-nano zinc oxide, edelweiss - a powerful flower that grows in the pure air of the Himalayas and hyaluronic acid, this sunscreen provides natural, effective protection while offering deep hydration and a silky-soft finish. What are the benefits of a mineral UV filter? We consciously chose to work with a mineral UV filter – non-nano zinc oxide. Mineral UV filters offer unique protection. Unlike chemical sunscreens, which absorb UV rays and break them down in the skin, mineral UV filters form a physical barrier on your skin that not only blocks the sun’s rays but reflects them entirely. This physical barrier – much like a mirror reflecting the sun – provides perfect protection against UVA and UVB rays, prevents the formation of pigment spots, and causes no irritation, making it ideal for sensitive skin or conditions like rosacea and eczema. Mineral sunscreens are also better for your health and the environment. They don’t contain harmful substances that can damage coral reefs and marine life.   So, are there only benefits to a mineral UV filter? Not entirely. A mineral UV filter can make sunscreens thick, sticky, and leave a heavy white layer on your skin. This often makes the creams unpleasant to use. After 12 years of research – with a lot of trial and error – we finally managed to develop a formula based on non-nano zinc oxide (a mineral UV filter) that is fully organic, pleasant to use, easily absorbed by your skin, and leaves no white residue.   Is a higher SPF always better? The SPF on the packaging indicates how well a product protects against UVB radiation. No sunscreen blocks 100% of the rays. SPF 50 blocks about 98%, just 1% more than SPF 30. Protection against UVA radiation is just as important, but SPF doesn’t say anything about that. UVB rays reach the outer skin layer and cause burning, warning your skin of excessive exposure. UVA rays penetrate deeper, are present year-round (even through glass and clouds), and play a large role in skin aging and skin cancer. Since UVA doesn’t cause direct damage like burning, you may not immediately realize you’ve been overexposed. We chose a mineral filter that protects against both UVA and UVB, with an SPF of 30. The difference with SPF 50 is small, but SPF 50 makes sunscreen thicker and increases the chance of leaving a white residue. We wanted a cream that you’ll enjoy using all year round for optimal protection. Sunscreen: How to apply it correctly? When it comes to sunscreen, applying the right amount is essential for it to work effectively. Apply sunscreen in the morning as the last step in your skincare routine, after your day cream but before any makeup (if you wear any). Spread it evenly over your face, neck, and décolleté, and massage it in. Make sure to apply sunscreen before sun exposure and reapply regularly throughout the day. Tip: To boost your skin's protection, apply an antioxidant-rich serum like Wild Rose Serum before your sunscreen. Packed with nourishing ingredients like rose essential oil, wild rose oil, sea buckthorn oil, and apricot kernel oil that nourishes and revitalizes the skin, enhancing elasticity and reducing fine lines.
