At CÎME we focus al lot of our energy in the formulation of our products and which ingredients go in it. We don’t participate in greenwashing – a term used to describe brands who bring out products on the market with a “natural” claim but aren’t 100% natural – and we like to be transparent about the superfoods used in our skincare range.
From the Himalaya…
During a trekking in India, Anke and her dad Walter were inspired by the beautiful nature and mountain plants in the Himalaya. These mountain plants grow in clean and crisp mountain air at a height of 3000 meters and are the inspiration behind each and every CÎME product.
The power of the Himalaya
Our active ingredients have a unique intensity and an exceptionally high potency of vitamins and antioxidants. Why? They have to survive in extreme weather conditions and withstand extreme cold, severe wind and intense sunlight.
Organic & natural
We use a maximum of natural and certified organic ingredients in our prescriptions, that make your skin look radiant and healthy. We believe that no synthetic formula can match the power of nature, so we do not use synthetic ingredients such as parabens, phenoxyethanol, synthetic perfumes and propylene glycol. The CÎME skincare range is also completely vegan and plant-based except for our Himalaya balm that includes cruelty free beeswax.
Our natural and organic cosmetics have been granted the ECOCERT label by the independent certification body ECOCERT Greenlife.
Nature meets science
A tremendous amount of research and testing (not on animals!) goes into every product we create. We combine ancient techniques with modern science to create the most potent active ingredients.
